Can I Bring My Own Chair to a Concert Venue in Central Florida?

Are you planning to attend a concert in Central Florida and want to know if you can bring your own chair? You're in luck! Depending on the venue, you may be able to bring your own chair. Garden chairs with low backrests are ONLY allowed when permitted*. Garden chairs with a seat higher than 9 inches from the ground (measured from the front of the seat) are NOT allowed. For performances at Steinmetz Hall, you can purchase light snacks, non-alcoholic drinks, and alcoholic beverages.

You can take your drink to your seat. Food or drinks from outside the venue are not allowed. For performances at The Plaza Live (except for Symphony Storytime performances), beverages (with and without alcohol) can be bought at the Friends Bar. Food or drinks from outside are not allowed inside the venue, except bottled water at Symphony Storytime Series performances.

Before the performance, all ticket holders will receive an email with important information such as ticket sales on the day of the performance, special parking options, instructions for entering the venue, food and drink options and other details. Additionally, by participating in an event at the Central Florida Fairgrounds, you are entering an area where photographs, audio and video recordings can be taken. So if you're planning to attend a concert in Central Florida, make sure to check if you can bring your own chair. It's always best to double-check with the venue before attending so that you don't have any surprises when you arrive!.
